This hotel is just a five-minute drive to Hunter Street and all of the good harbour restaurants located nearby. It's an easy 20-minute walk along the Hunter River to the Honeysuckle area and well located for visiting Newcastle.

The breakfast service here is very basic with a limited range of cereals and white bread and jams. Throwing in some fresh fruit or a piece of ham would really spice things up.

There are a few noise issues going on with this hotel, including thin walls which means you can hear much of your neighbour's conversations as well as doors banging shut throughout the night. This hotel is also above a noisy wine bar so you have that to deal with as well.

Be aware that the 12 rooms share two ladies toilets and showers with one for men with shower facilities. Be sure to request a room with private bath if this will be a problem.
