Positive Reviews
positive:
The location wins, hands down.
This is budget accommodation … but with several big ‘plus' features! You don't have to go far to eat out and if the budget doesn't stretch to that, there's a supermarket across the road! The sea is also very close, so great for a refreshing swim. Finally, Sliema buzzes and here you are ...right in the centre!
positive:
Good sized living accommodation.
The accommodation is quite large and reasonably clean.
positive:
The horror is diluted.
There are appalling stories of terrible experiences at some of Malta's top end and very expensive hotels. You pay a fraction of the price here ... virtually next to nothing ... so you should expect some deficiencies. It isn't all bad though … and just think of the price!
Negative Reviews
negative:
In hot water with the air conditioning.
You pay for the ‘air con' via a meter and note use of the word ‘con'. Not only is it expensive, but the windows don't close properly so the steamy Sliema air wafts in and offsets any benefit. Dying for a shower? You'll be lucky! The hot water goes off for hours at a time during the busy periods.
negative:
A shocking shuttle.
This death defying journey is very slow to start and load up, but then embarks on a terrifying trip through Sliema's streets. You'll definitely remember this start to your holiday.

Enough to make a Maltese cross
The accommodation isn't very clean and gives rise to some serious concerns. First stop is the front desk/reception area which is quite often closed. Even when manned, there is huge indifference to the concerns that you raise. Yes, it's cheap … and there's a good reason for that!
